I am a post-doctoral researcher of psychology at University of California, San Diego (advisor: Victor Ferreira). My research interests lie in how humans comprehend and produce languages (see Research page for more detail). Before coming to San Diego, I got my Ph.D in linguistics from University of Maryland, department of linguistics. (advisor: Colin Phillips). In Maryland, I was also an active member of UMD language science community, and was collaborating with Bob Slevc in Psychology and Ellen Lau in Linguistics/NACS. I've spent three summers in Hiromu Sakai's lab at Hiroshima University and Waseda University in Japan, and am collaborating with his lab members since the first visit.
